Requirements: Able to handstand with the support of a wall for 30 seconds. Able to hold a hollow body on the floor for 1 minute. Taking the Handstands and Inversion 101 class is recommended, but not required.

Description: In this class we will work toward maintaining a free-standing handstand without a wall or a spot, explore more advanced entrances and exits for handstands, and play with leg positions. Conditioning and drills will be more intensive, and most of the time will be spent inverted! Students will also be expected to practice handstands regularly outside of class.

Each class will work on whole body conditioning from the wrists and shoulders to core and legs for more intensive handstand work. Continue to work on form and new exercises to challenge your current strength and balance. Focus will also be given to creative balances, forearms stands and basic choreography with handstands. This class is the same length as our 101 class and will build the endurance for the longer Handstands 301 class.
