Description: Beginner/Gentle to Moderate Flow

This class is suitable for students who are new to aerial yoga, and those looking for a more relaxing class. We will cover all of the fundamental Unnata® Aerial Yoga postures, with focus on gaining comfort in the air and in supported inversions. There will be a balance of strength building and relaxation in each class, with plenty of time given for students to explore each new pose.

Aerial yoga uses a low hanging fabric sling to support the body in different aerial yoga poses. Some poses look quite similar to traditional yoga poses, others are literally turned upside down. Classes will include core and upper body strengthening exercises, poses to increase flexibility, and many poses that allow gravity to gently traction and release the spine. Expect a strong practice and some delicious relaxing poses unique to the aerial sling.
