IMPORTANT NOTE: Students can only enroll in Youth Performance Troupe if they have been invited to join.
Attendance and Commitment:- Youth Troupe for is a one session commitment: Winter 2024
- Youth Troupe practice is weekly on Fridays from 4-7pm.
- Youth Troupe students are also required to take an additional class or monthly private lesson series each session to keep up with individual skill progressions and growth.
- Additional weekend rehearsals/performances near the performance dates are also required.
- All Youth Troupe students are required to miss no more than 6 hours of youth troupe per session (up to 2, 3-hour classes). Due to the nature of group work, having any troupe member absent impairs the progress of the act for everyone. Also, for the quality and safety of our shows, we need time to practice, plan, and organize. If a student misses more than six hours per session, they may be removed from an act to ensure the safety of everyone involved and group progress.
- If the student is unable to make a practice or rehearsal date, then please inform the coaches in writing as far in advance as possible so we can plan around their absence as much as possible.
- There is a weekly Youth Troupe Open Studio on weekends (day and time TBA). A coach will be there to monitor the open studio. Students are welcome to practice any skills that they have had previous instruction in. This open studio is not limited to material covered in Youth Troupe. There is no fee; it is included in Youth Troupe costs.
Any cancellation made by the student before the first day of class will be given a 100% refund. Any cancellations made by the student after the first class of the session has run is not eligible for a refund (special exceptions may be made for medical situations). If a single class is canceled by the studio (due to weather, staff availability, etc.), the cost of that class will be credited to your P13 account based on the single per class rate. Adult students who miss 1-2 classes during the session may attend 1-2 Open Studios free of charge, per session, to make up for the missed classes, as space allows. Students making up missed classes using Open Studios must register through the office.
Please note—if you miss a class due to COVID-related reasons, the cost of that class will be credited to your P13 account based on the single per class rate. As a result absences due to COVID will not be eligible for free Open Studio make-ups, but you may use your account credit to pay for Open Studios.
In the event that only one student is present for any given class, the class will automatically be changed to 1 hour in duration.
